Alice Pearce wrote under the psuedonym 'Amica', as noted in volume 2 of Boases and Courtney's Bibliotheca Cornubiensis. They reference Pearce being 'of Falmouth' and record at least one published poetic piece in the Cornish Magazine in 1828: 'An Acrostic on the Rev. R. H. Hitchens'.
