Anne Ridler was a poet, editor, librettist, and dramatist.

Full biography

She married Vivian Ridler, a typographer and printer, who would become the printer for Oxford University Press from 1958-78. He printed her first volume Poems in 1939 for Oxford University Press. She was an editor for Faber and Faber and selected poems for the 1941 Faber edition of The Little Book of Modern Verse with T. S. Eliot. She was a friend of C.S. Lewis.

Ridler and her family spent holidays in Cornwall and she wrote several poems on the county.
