Born and bred in Truro, Molony lived in Bath. She was a BBC television and radio producer involved in the production of a wide range of programmes, particularly in the areas of travel, natural history, and education.
Full biography
She was also the first editor of the BBC's Women's Hour. She authored several books of folk tales from Cornwall and the West Country.
