Short biography
A friend of the Hypatia Trust, Richings was a local to Newmill and the Jamieson Library, the progenitor of the Hypatia Collections.
Full biography
She was a journalist, writing the Newmill Column for The Cornishman and kept up with community events and activities. Active with the Women’s Institute, she saw that prize-winning local history projects were written up in bound volumes and ensured an extra copy. She contributed to the 1995 centennial history of the Newlyn Art Gallery by providing indexing.
