Short biography
Jean Stubbs was a novelist. She was and educated in Lancashire, and moved to the Lizard, Cornwall with her second husband in 1975. Amongst other novels and non-fiction, she authored several books on Cornwall, including 100 Years Around the Lizard (Bossiney Books, 1985) and Great Houses of Cornwall (Bossiney Books, 1987)
She later moved in Helston and died there in 2012.
