Short biography
The daughter of Bertrand and Dora Russell, Tait lived in the United States. She married the Reverend Charles Tait but latterly separated from him when she returned to her family's home, Carn Voel, in Porthcurno.
Full biography
Whilst at university, she was previously the house-mother of the Harvard University social-group, the Hasty Pudding Club. Her PhD studies were carried out at Radcliffe College, Cambridge.
She wrote an autobiography, My Father, Bertrand Russell in 1975. The previous year, in 1974, she founded The Bertrand Russel Society to preserve and further understanding of the work. Tait was a member of the Hypatia Trust.
