An artist and a writer. Powell is the grand-daughter of Charles Napier Hemy on whom she has authored a book.
Full biography
She has also written a history of her own ancient home at Trewoofe, near Lamorna. Her daughter is the nurse humanitarian Valerie Powell, MBE who works in refugee camps worldwide.
