Marianne Gervis ( 1795 - 1861 ) Short biography A native of Penryn, Gervis was a collector and complier of Cornish ballads. She is noted in Volume One of Boase and Courtney's Bibliotheca Cornubiensis. Gervis died at Mylor Bridge.
