Mary Ann Reeve ( - )
Short biography
Little is known of Reeve. She was a resident in Penzance, as a companion to Mrs John Tremenheere, from 1810 to 1826. In 1865 she brought out a volume of poetry, Lays from the West, which contained descriptions of Cornish scenery.
Full biography
She is noted in Volume Two of Boase and Courtney's 1874 text the Bibliotheca Cornubiensis. They note her volume of poetry was written in part whilst Reeve was resident in Penzance and that at least half of the people named in the volume's 'List of Subscribers' were Cornish folk.
