Short biography

An American poet. Boyd had a lifelong relationship with both Dorothy and Pog Yglesias, the sister who founded the Mousehole Wild Bird Sanctuary. Until 1988, Boyd lived in Mousehole, at the former home of the Yglesias sisters following their deaths. Boyd and her husband Scott Chasskey, also a poet, then returned to Sag Harbour, New York to live with their two children. During her time in Cornwall, Boyd worked at the Jamison Library, the precursor to the Hypatia Trust, for a year.
