Short biography
Rosalind Wade was a novelist and editor of The Contemporary Review. Several of her works are set in Cornwall.
Full biography
Wade was educated in London and at Bedford College. She was among the writers who congregated at David Archer's Parton Street bookshop in London in the mid-1930s.
Wade was the chair and later the president (1965-1989) of the Society of Women Writers and Journalists, the chair of the Alresford Historical and Literary Society, and a founding member and vice-president of the West Country Writers Association.
Wade seems to have had connections with the Cornish literary scene, featuring in Cornish anthologies as well as books edited by Denis Val Baker.
