Rose Odle ( - )
Short biography
Odle was the sister of Alan Odle, the artist, who married Dorothy Richardson. Rose came frequently from London to visit the couple when they moved to Cornwall to live more cheaply than they could in London.
Full biography
From 1917 until 1939, the couple spent their winters in Cornwall and their summers in London; and then stayed permanently in Cornwall until Alan Odle's death in 1948, settling at Trevone, near Newquay.
Rose Odle wrote of those experiences in her 1972 biography of their circle of acquaintances and friends. Odle later became Richardson's literary executor.
