Susan St Levan, with her husband, was the custodian of St Michael's Mount, Marazion from 1978 until her death in 2003.
Full biography
She grew up in Southern Rhodesia, where her father, John Kennedy, a senior British Army Officer, was Governor from 1947 to 1953. She married John Francis Arthur St Aubyn (who would become the fourth Baron St Levan and assume custodianship of the family seat) in 1970.
She was a charity worker and a Cordon Bleu cook, as well as the complier of a charity cookbook of Cornish recipes.
